Facility </strong></div><div style="border-top: #d3d3d3 1px solid; margin-top: 3px; font-size: 14px; margin-bottom: 5px; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify; padding: 3px;"><ul><li>Twenty self contained, two and three bedroom apartments <br /></li><li>Fully furnished including linens, kitchen utensils, dishes and household items.<br /></li><li>Convenient access to schools and other essential services.<br /></li><li>Two barrier free apartments and the entire facility is wheelchair accessible<br /></li><li>Outdoor playground<br /></li><li>Six month accommodation in a fully furnished self-contained apartment. WINGS subsidizes rent and utilities and follows Alberta Works financial benefits guidelines.<br /></li><li>Twenty- four hour security (no fee)<br /></li><li>Donations of food, clothes, household items and, when available, donated furniture for residents.</li></ul></div><div style="float: right;"><!-- no full story--></div></div><div><strong>B. There is NO FEE for these programs. <br /><br /><strong>1. Women&rsquo;s Groups (no fee)</strong> Topics Include: <ul><li>Family Violence Education </li><li>Parent Resource Groups<br /></li><li>Life Management Skills Group (e.g. stress management , self-esteem, healthy boundaries)</li></ul><br /><strong>2. Individual Supportive Counseling (no fee)</strong> <ul><li>Safety Planning<br /></li><li>Crisis Intervention<br /></li><li>Information about family violence<br /></li><li>Court Accompaniment<br /></li><li>Referrals<br /></li><li>Family of Origin Concerns<br /></li><li>Parenting Support and Information<br /></li><li>Case Planning/Goal Setting<br /></li><li>Primary Health Support through the Victorian Order of Nurses</li></ul><br /><strong>3. Child Support Program (no fee)</strong><br />The Child Support Program provides activities, fun play and support to pre- school children four mornings a week while their mothers participate in group.<br /><br />One morning a week, the Child Support Program provides a mother and child with an interactive play group. This group provides learning opportunities for child development, creative and fun activities. <br /><br />One-on-one support with individual children can be provided in our Child Support while their mothers are receiving counseling. <br /><br /><strong>4. Children and Youth Program (No Fee)</strong> <ul><li>Weekly - Children Exposed to Family Violence Groups<br /></li><li>Safety Planning<br /></li><li>Recreational Programs <br /></li><li>Special Events/Outings<br /></li><li>Children and Teen Support Group<br /></li><li>Referrals<br /></li><li>Summer Recreational Programs<br /></li><li>Summer Camp</li></ul><br /><strong>5. Outreach and Follow Up Program (No Fee)</strong><br />The Outreach/Follow-Up program provides ongoing support to families after they leave WINGS and support to women leaving family violence but who have chosen to live independently in the community. <br /><br />The goal is to sustain women and children leaving abusive relationships safely in the community. <br /><br />The program assists with the following barriers: <ul><li>Integration into new communities<br /></li><li>Advocacy/Support with systems<br /></li><li>Poverty of women- The transition worker can help locate furniture, household items, and clothes which are donated to WINGS from the community<br /></li><li>Christmas Hamper Program for families actively involved in our program</li></ul><a name="volunteer"></a><br /><strong>6.
